Load trolley model 18-4129 for the new generation of freight wagons with an axial load of 25 ton-forces.
Design philosophy
The design of the load trolley provides for diagonal couplings, primary (over-box) suspension provided by mounting onto adapters of metal-rubber spring. By its dynamic indexes and a rolling characteristic, the model 18-4129 has substantial advantages over the load trolley model 18-100. The rates of impact on rails and point switches of gondola cars on these load trolleys do not exceed allowable and recommended values, subject to the axial load of 23,5 ton-forces. That fact allows to use the load trolley throughout the railway network of CIS countries, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, and Georgia, without speed limitations in loaded and empty states.
Design philosophy
Central spring suspension includes 9 sets of springs on each side, the internal springs being arranged above the external springs, the design of fixed contact slippers provides for the use of wound cylindrical springs, a brake beam with a thread less mounting of blocks; the devices for even relief of blocks are provided. One-stage spring suspension, with the use of an expansion strip in the adapter design.
